Driving

We went to london this weekend to hang out with the olds. We did it last weekend too to hang out with the olds-in-law, they are up north though not 'daaan saaaff'. We are doing a lot of night driving over the next few weeks which is tiring.

I'm always sad we live away from family but then we did choose it, although I wasn't thinking this far ahead when I visited university in York on a beautiful snowy day and thought I'll study here it's pretty!

We often ask if we should move closer to one or another of the families...life would be easier if we did. Grandparents round the corner sounds like such a luxury but then would they have the same relationship as they do now, quality time rather than all the time...ho hum...
