Lone Lilly Pilly

I noticed this lone flower poking through the wood fence palings from the house next door. It is quite a contrast against the wooden fence.

The flowers are like fireworks or some 1970's light. I wanted to get it lit so the little balls looked like they were lighting up, but pitch darkness and heavy downpours were not on my side. I might try again some other time.

I had never really appreciated how delicate these flowers are.
