Ivy

I saw this ivy growing on a wall and thought it might make a great B&W shot, especially with its barky texture. However, after downloaded the images and playing with them in Bibble I was disappointed with the results. Eventually I ended up with this shot, after cropping and messing around with contrast and other settings.

Not crazy about the outcome, but I'm not too unhappy either. I think I'll revisit this ivy again, but with a tripod so I can get full depth of field, and after it's rained, to get a nice wet look. I feel like there is a great shot in there somewhere, just have to find it.
