Reflections

For some reason this image haunted me today. We went to Lake Tahoe today and even though there was still five feet of snow lining the streets, it was a warm and extravagantly beautiful day.

I still find that my heart is struggling in letting go of you.
(I know you're a dream, , just a shadowed reflection of the real you.
In my minds eyes, we walk we talk. We are. But You are not.
You walk among the land of the living while I talk to the shadow.
I thought it would be easier, Easy to forget.
To you it will. YOu will get the charismatic smile.
Fine, always fine. It will look easy.
Put on the charming smile me, for no one should know.
Its just not that easy.
