Best Seat in the House

My best guess was this little girl was on her dad's shoulders, and grandpa was beside the two. They were watching 2 guys try to land a fish.
It led to a discussion between my wife and I about how long we had been coming to this beach. She figured 47 years for her, and 42 years for me. That's a long time.
It also led to memories of her dad, my mom, and my sister. All 3 have passed. In their own way, they all loved this place.
We have watched our children, our siblings, our nieces and nephews, and close friends get sand between their toes.
Sand castles, body surfing, pancakes, walks on the pier, sea gull droppings, sunsets.....ahhhhh, the beach.
