cropped tightly just to see how it comes out. She was waiting for pans to lick clean (yes, we do wash them afterwards, but it makes the dog happy to do the prewash)

It's very hard to capture the shiny wavy black hair of that dog, it can often come out flat or washed out... I will keep trying, although when there isn't a good foodish distraction she is a singularly uninterested model. Uninterested in staying in place, that is.

She does look as if she is sticking her tongue out at someone (actually she was licking her chops in anticipation), which is quite appropriate for April 1st
