a pheasant?!

Our back path, Dundee.

There was a pheasant outside my neighbour's door today.
I have no idea how she got there, but it absolutely made my day.

It's especially surprising because we live in the city centre - not on a country road about to walk out in front of a car, which is where I usually see a pheasant.

She was really calm and didn't mind me coming close.
It was lovely.
