Brighton Rock

I recently had a conversation with a PGCE student who insisted that the latest version of Brighton Rock in the cinema was a remake of Quadrophenia! I tried to explain that they had just updated the story to the Mod era [when Quadrophenia was set] rather than the original 1930s but she didn't understand what I was talking about. I don't think she had even heard of Graham Greene.

Yes, I do have all my orange penguin books together on the shelf but you'll be glad to know they are not in alphabetical order, that would be stupid!
