The huge salt walls. With them, Salt valley is the biggest open-air inhalation facility in Europe.

The impressive constructions, which were originally built for salt production, consist of an approximately 8 metre high thorn hedge, over the top of which salt water is pumped, which trickles back down and is collected at the bottom. During the process around 15 % of the water evaporates and is breathed in as a natural spray, freeing the respiratory tracts.

In the heart of the spa area two further salt walls and the salt water spray form the open-air inhalation facilities in the spa gardens.
