another red balloon day........

cheers to joe, blip and all you fellow blippers out there. it is rather cliched but it does seem like only yesterday when i started reading LLCoolJim's blogs and decided to have a bash at posting a daily pic myself.

i started with my phones camera and quickly moved on to a half decent point and click. at the end on december i decided it was time to move up again and moved into the world of the SLR. fantastic, love it and have never looked back.

i never thought for a moment that i would have kept this going but it turns out that photography is addictive, much like the whole blip experience. i know i haven't been here that long but what a place. you start to recognise peoples styles. whether it is LL's soap box ranting or stingdings nature shots. i know i don't know you all personally but you do get a glimpse into the inside of folks heads with some of their pics and words and for that i am grateful. i love to people watch while sitting in a cafe and this is just a variation on that.

i don't want to keep harping on today as i have to head into central london and get the neighbours a house warming present for their party tonight.
so you get this pic (an old idea but it will do for today). if while i am out i may get a better shot and i'll update the image but let me end by saying a BIG thank you to all of you who take the time to look at my pics and for the comments that you leave.
blip has been great in giving me some focus while living in london, and i have also been introduced to some nice folk on here. Scobes, 42 i would never have met up with you two if it were not for blip and that was another cool experince.

so again.......thank you one and all and if you keep checking them out then i shall keep taking these dodgy shots and hopefully bring a little joy and amusement into your lives. have a great weekend folks.....................i shall spread that little balloon around when i get back.
