Self Portrait

Well, as you can see this is a cupboard full of drinking related paraphernalia, which I took last night or early this morning depending on how you look at it.

If you look closely you will see my reflection in the image, portraits of me, my mum, my sister, and various photos of my nephew and paintings of long dead and unidentified generations of Arndt/Stephans in the backround.

These objects are the only connection I have ever had to many of my relatives. Relics of an opulent past which have followed me around and of which I will one day be keeper.
