Red Fanta for Who?

The first time I saw a drink set up like this at the front of the bus, I thought, "A drink carrier right next to the driver. What a good idea!" Then I noticed the red soda in another bus and another. Some weren't as full as others, some had cobwebs and dust stuck to the straw. Some were tied up with string, some were just propped up next to the window and other stuff.

Then it finally clicked. The drink is not for the driver. The drivers, most who are Buddhists, believe it will appease the spirits, keep the bus running well, bring good profits, etc.

I have learned so much in the past 8 months.
