Baby Shower

Today I ran more errands on my never-ending "to-do" list, then I went to a baby shower. They know they are having a girl and she got lots of very cute, girlie things. They decided to find out the sex of their baby in a very creative way. The took their doctor's results to a baker and asked that they bake a cake with the icing inside a color to indicate the sex. On Christmas Eve (or Day, I can't remember) they sliced open the cake surrounded by family and friends. I thought that was a great way to keep it a surprise, but not quite to the end. When my time comes I think I want to go for the surprise at birth, but you never know!
