Happy Mother's Day

You know being a mother is quite a hard job!
You only get one bash at it and you learn on the hoof! When my kids moan I am on their case, I tell them "It's in the contract"
On days like today, mothers around the UK are remembered though some too are fogotten. Others like myself, their mothers have died thus making to day just that bit harder!
However my 3 kids were on hand to keep me going. Only one was home as she works here at weekends. She came bearing gifts from her and her sister
3 boxes of chocolates, 3 DVD's a camera magazine, an iTunes card & a wee bottle of champane. From my no1 son I got a Happy Mothers day call. He works in a resturaunt/bar and was wondering whey the Hell so many "old ladies & grannies" were coming in and making his job so busy until someone reminded him it was Mother's Day at which point he sped out the place to make a quick phone call to me but was at least honest enough to tell me he had fogotten and as he has such a poor memory, he got a ay with it. I still love him to bits along with our two lovely daughters.
This evening we ended up having a slap up meal with some very old friends of ours who like us used to live on the island , they had gathered to celebrate their edding aniversay with friends at Stonefield Castle. Very posh place it is too with fantastic food. Shame about the eejit behind the bar who actually sird to us to wait as he as" having an important conversation with these people" !!! Have you ever heard the likes? The rest of the staff were lovely and very attentive though one of them had a 3 year old boy that was still wandering about the place at 11pm !!!

Hoever in all a lovely day and one to remember.
