Time flies by when you're the driver of a train...

First public running day of the season at Goodwin Park today!

Apparently I got some funny looks while I was taking this shot... it is the coal bucket that they use for the club locos. I also got some other shots that I was quite happy with too.

Tried out one of my new bogies on the track (see the above 'others' gallery)... tense moment waiting to see if it would derail or not or if it would bind on some of the points (turnouts)... good news though, it was superb! Was VERY close to the check rails in some places (the flanges are thicker than those of the club bogies) but it doesn't catch so all is good!

The bogies ended up slightly wider than the club ones too, so I was worried that the carriage body (that dad and I made) wouldn't be wide enough for them to fit inside... but they fit perfectly! It all seems to good to be true!
