The latest round of the bi-monthly cooking competition I enter is due to end tomorrow so I spent some time today coming up with my entry. The main ingredients that needed to be used were duck and egg, so I ended up making this Pan fried duck with bubble and squeak, poached duck egg and a raspberry and bitter chocolate coulis.

First time I've ever cooked duck (other than one of of a packet to go with pancakes!) and it wasn't too bad!
