UKuncut: business as usual

It takes more than intimidation from the Met and public condemnation from the prime minister, home secretary and the nominal mayor of London to dampen our spirits.

So, after the political policing of last week's peaceful occupation of West End luxury store Fortnum & Mason, it was important to get back in the saddle. So we popped to see some old friends down Oxford Street.

Outside BHS (owned by Philip Green who skirts round feeble UK tax law to the tune of £300m) I spotted this woman sketching the scene. It struck me that she was perhaps continuing the tradition of the "official war artists." Not that we want any rough stuff, mind ;-)

A few more from today.

And on top of all of that, it's only bleedin' Sub Sunday...

This week mine goes to neville. He's new here, and his team just got done at Wembley, so be gentle with him. For a bit, anyway.
