John The Builder

As the weather has been so good John decided that the time was right to get the guttering replaced. This is part of the great "Get the House Together Campaign".

First the guttering, then the windows replaced, then the bathroom, then the interior walls, then the kitchen, then the................

Anyway John is our man. He is a builder, an artist and occasional blipper - a Highland renaissance man.

Today we also had an unexpected visit from one of my oldest friends. We hadn't seen each other for 30 years but on the day George Harrison died, (we were both big fans,) he started trying to find me again.

He did, and we've remained in contact since and both our partners have become friends too but best off all he's going to become a grandpa soon.

So a good day all round.
