Happy mothers tent day

I was greeted by beautiful cards, flowers and breakfast this morning, before Gordon had to dash off and get the bus, as the car is currently not a happy car. Then after a minor disagreement, Rohan shouted with quivering rage that she HATED me, and that she was NOT having a perfect mothers day. She may have missed the point somewhere along the line.
However, things could only improve from here, and we went outside into the lovliiest spring day so far, where I made a tent around the woodstore; the children, in their new and confined space, played together like the best of friends, while I did a bit of sanding on a printers drawer which we've had for years, and is now finally nearing completion and readiness for displaying various small precious things.
