Rome?

So, today we got us some culture. The photo could arguably be a small palazzo in Rome (ok, you may need to squint a bit...), but is in fact Hereford Shire Hall, where we went to listen to the Hereford String Orchestra playing a centenary celebration concert of Elgar. It was smashing. But I think the HSO was rather outshone by the support act Cantabile - a choral group, who were just excellent. No wonder they keep on winning choral competitions!

And the pre- and post-concert hospitality was top notch too. We were introduced to The Ned, a delicious NZ dessert wine... mmm
