Fire Lighting Duties

One of the daily jobs at this time of the year is lighting the fire in the Great Hall before we open to visitors.

The gadget blows extremely hot air out (around 1,000 degrees C, it claims) and this ignites the wood and fans the flames. This negates the need for paper or kindling.
