First Lead!

Right, I have a huge terms test this week, I have a physics test immediately after that, I had a cold all week that set me back in my learning...
Ahh what the hell, let's go climbing!
Today I chucked in the books and went climbing with some friends. No regrets, it was fantastic!
I got to learn lead climbing for the first time (as did my friend Laura, who is the one captured). It felt so much cooler than top-roping (when the rope is above you so if you fall it's just a bit of rope stretch and then you just get back on and keep going). I felt totally in control and each time I clipped into a bolt it was like the wind breathed relief over me and urged me to keep going up (even though my new shoes were killing me).

I used a lot of friction and my mitochondria worked hard so that's me for the day. To any potential good grades and to my toes, I am sorry, but right now I'm so lost it just doesn't matter.
