Wood Duck

Very late home tonight so I am blipping this pretty duck, and shall catch up on comments tomorrow. I think he must have had a mate in a nest nearby, as he was anxious not to go too far away, and allowed us much nearer than usual. We saw a black-crowned night heron too, which was exciting, but I shall have to work on that picture and Flickr it tomorrow.
