looked up.

This tree is growing outside our front door and I walk by it at least twice a day. I never noticed that there was a hummingbird nest in it until my neighbor pointed it out to me the other day. Supposedly there was a baby hummingbird in it a few weeks ago, but he apparently has grown up and left.

I am so used to looking down (for weeding, pruning, not to mention my old job of inspecting storm drains) that I very rarely look up at anything but the clouds. Maybe I should look up a little more often and see what new things I can find.
