witnessed a birth.

Today I was pruning at the Botanic Garden when I came upon this little guy emerging from his chrysalis. His colors are a bit pale now, but once his wings dry out he will be in his full orange and black Monarch glory. No denying that spring is here.

I love how gardening allows you to get close to the ground and see things you normally would never even notice!
