Model Making - Day 8, 9 & 10

I spent these few days working out how the electronics will operate. I then began to construct the system by first soldering the components together. This again took a long period of time and I required help with this also. I began to realise that I couldn't construct the final system as I was unsure about the size of wire I required. I therefore began mortising the shelf for the reed switches & drilling holes for the LEDs and the wiring to connect the circuit. This was extremley difficult and time consuming for me. I also had to build some other unexpected components such as a cell battery holder as I couldn't purchase one with the correct sizes that I required. This then became much more time consuming and added more expense.
