Soaring

A day for some paperwork, tidying, ironing and generally catching up before going out to the shops.

I wore a different pair of shoes the other day and I'd forgotten that they are a bit on the tight side. I ended up doing a lot of walking and I've managed to develop a blister on top of a blister on top of raw bone on my little toe on my left foot. It's absolutely agony so I've been shuffling about all day.

This picture was taken from the first bench that I managed to reach in Rouken Glen - a park on the southside of Glasgow.

I actually found it a relief to go the gym and wear my trainers tonight - the pain of my toe over-rides the pain of the cross-trainer.
