Mundane yet necessary

This morning I spent about one hour filling in yet more cracks in preparation for painting.

I feel like I've turned a corner today as I've at last got the motivation to finish the job more quickly. This stems from the pleasant sight of noticing I now have more smooth surfaces than not.

This might not be the most eye catching photo, but it is what it is. I shot the various fillers from below to make them look more important, to highlight the fact these mundane tasks are necessary for a good end result.
