Wood Anenome

After quite heavy rain overnight and this morning it was nice to get out for a quick walk in some sunshine this afternoon. There is still a strong wind, but in the shelter of the wood it felt really mild. The recent warmer, brighter weather has spurred the Wood Anemones into action and I am sure that before too long there will be a covering of them throughout the woods. This one was in some dappled sunlight just at the side of the path and came out quite well considering it was handheld. Enjoy the rest of the weekend everone - hope it stays nice for you!
