Mrs. Pheasant

We had spotted a female pheasant several times wandering around with the chickens but unlike Mr. Pheasant who comes for his peanuts every day, she proved to be very shy indeed till today I suddenly spotted her and as I had the camera at the ready managed to get her snapshot.
I only hope that when the little baby pheasants appear they too will keep their distance as such little creatures and a greyhound are not a good combination!
