As the skies were clear and the snow fresh we headed up to the highest point - the Aiguille Rouge. At 3226m the view is stunning in every direction. It truly feels like you are on top of the world.

Having to ski back down from there is another matter entirely. (I'd like to say a big thank you to the lovely french man who repaired my ski.) And even though the first section of descent is challenging once the piste opens up it won the biggest smiles of the week by far. I'm even grinning now just thinking about it.
