Only blues

After a three month wait, we were able to get the gas connection set up. Took a while getting the workers to complete their tasks without damaging anything else in the house. A surprising cold and the event have left me without choices, confined to the sofa with legs stretched out. Today is for partying out though, and I am glad someone is.

Edit at 11 PM - This seems like a moment worth recording. Tendulkar being carried around waving the flag on his teammates' shoulders, loud crackers going off faster than the clock ticks, smoke making everything else disappear. India showed some great character to win the world cup today. If the game continues to be played in the same spirit, and it's similarly competitive, it might just be worth watching again.
