reading "The Princess Bride"

Happy Valentine's Day.

A was home from school with the stomach flu.
I stayed off work a half day and read to him from that classic love and adventure story "The Princess Bride" by William Goldman.

Today is Z's (our eldest son's) birthday.Today he is sixteen. That's a big day.
He's a good young man and he makes me proud.
