Farewell BBQ

Just grabbed Daughter A before she headed out to a farewell BBQ - a close friend of hers is going to Australia to live but her friend doesn't know that Daughter A has flown in from Wellington for this special occasion, you can imagine the laughter, hugs and tears - they'll have a great time.

Daughter A is a design student into her second year of a four year degree. She has sat at our dining room table since she arrived home yesterday busy with her work - I'm glad shes having a break tonight because I know she'll be back at the table tomorrow bright and early until its time to take her to the airport - she is studious, committed and loves what shes doing.

Other news I'm on the go slow with blip as we are sharing computers while others are in the shop. Yesterdays blip is now loaded if you wish to take a look.
There was an amazing sunrise this morning at the beach but felt it was Daughter A's turn today. Our clocks go back one hour tonight so the sunrises might be just out of my reach - a little too early for a while.

I'm cooking Chow Mein for tea tonight which is just about all set to go, just waiting to hear from Hubby when hes leaving work - always late on a Saturday night.
