Chummies and Confessions

Today I had a chat with a friend over the do's and don'ts of married life - hers was ripped apart by the blunt and blind need of confessing all flaws of dishonesty and infidelity by her husband - her chummy. Being his chum and being served his troubles in the name of honesty and faith was at the cost of respect and care. His tearful confessions and pleas helped her to decide for her departure - and I think I do understand her choice for fresh air
