Easter Cactus

Another wild , wet and windy day and when it wasn't raining it was just dreich! No decent light for any outside shots. So , as the Easter Cactus is beginning to flower it was down to trying to get something different.
Tried various settings around the house and the one which worked best was with the plant pot sitting on top of the television set which our grandsons use for their games boxes or whatever they are called. The background is the dark screen with some sidelighting from the window aided by fill in flash to make something of it. Then I had a play around with the geometric tool , think this might just suit today's date.

The boys are coming tonight for the weekend so we might get out somewhere tomorrow , weather permitting.

....and yes Kaybeee Oscar had his usual walks as always , rain hail or shine.keeps me fit. have a great weekend everyone.
