socks in the city

these are my new socks, i have owned them for two days but this is the first time i have ever worn them. i like them.

today is valentines day - the day when single folk are made to feel inadequate, lovers are told to feel something and the florist, chocolatiers, booze merchants, restrantaurs and card companies are made to feel rich.

i guess (according to valentines day) im on my own tonight but nature boy is here wandering about the flat in his towel and i have happy thoughts in my head (not about nature boy in his towel - just about other stuff)
