....A burger on a bun.......

Fun quiz night tonight and pay day for the Boss. She decided to treat us to tea in the pub.

Last week we saw these huge wooden boards, with 6 mini burgers, a mountain of chips and copious onion rings. So that's what we went for, Mini Burgers Sharing Platter.

Imagine our disappointment when this turned up, 6 mini burgers right enough (2 burgers, 2 Cheese burgers and 2 Cheese and bacon burgers), but a tiny bowl of chips and only 6 onion rings, on a normal size plate. Seems they've been serving portions too big so the Brewery has ordered a cut down in size. It was very tasty but it wasn't what we were expecting, so it looks like supper before bed in a few minutes.

We didn't win the quiz either, lost by a single point, still there were only two of us. D and V were at the rehearsal for their youngest daughter's wedding on Saturday

Crap day at work again, nearly lost it big time this morning, launched off into a marvellous spell of profane language, problem had better be solved tomorrow or I want an instruction in writing so that when the shit hits the fan I'm covered, and not in shit neither!
