I visited the Voltaire & Rousseau secondhand bookshop in Glasgow today. I haven't visited the shop in years and the walk along Otago St, down to the lane was lovely. I spent about an hour browsing (I had to set a time limit) and managed to leave with only 3 books.
A look at how early American women's magazines influenced the women of the 1800's, a history of World War II in the voices of those who were there and a small book on highland clan dress and history, which will come in handy at work.
