Grey Heron Near Cardington Lock
Pretty wild grey weather with no inspiration today, went for a walk by the river after work but all the pix were very flat and dull.
I was on my way back home and this Heron was on the far bank of the river but I initially walked right past it without noticing! Luckily I turned around and saw it standing stock still and it seemed totally relaxed as I made my way to a point directly opposite it to get this capture. It was still just too far away for a really decent shot but was quite pleased with the outcome in the circumstances.
