Mining for gold, Idaho Springs, CO.

I was on my way to Paracute, CO this morning for diversity and skills training. When I made my way to Georgetown, CO traffic was backed up for miles. Loveland pass had been closed due to blizzard conditions. So, on my way back home, I stopped in Idaho Springs. The town is an old gold mining community that dates back into the 1870's. There are so many photo opportunities with the old churches, mines and downtown area. I will certainly be going back there for more blips. Anyone want to go? I have enough room for 5 other enthusiasts.
