Macrocheira kaempferi (apparently)

Back in the city again, a new day, a new meeting. Afterwards I wanted to have a mooch in the museum but sadly they'd closed an hour before. Luckily for me though I found this amazing Giant Spider Crab was inspiration enough for today's blip. I couldn't tell you how massive this particular specimen is but the species can measure almost 4 metres claw to claw. A pretty gruesome monster to eyeball on the sea bed!
