Black Squirrel (2)

Spent the morning wishing I hadn't tried to keep William in his cot last night. Sleep deprived again. Co-sleeping gets me more sleep (just) but have been trying to stop as all he seems to do since he has been ill is lie on my chest to sleep and he is HEAVY.

Music train was fun but he decided at the end he didn't want to play he wanted to sleep so we left whenthe free play started. Did jobs in town until pick up time (took this while I was there), then took Carys back into town to get the new shoes we bought on Saturday checked as they look really wide. One change of insole later, the way you change width on hush puppies shoes apparently, and they did look much better.

Waited in for the water board this afternoon and then headed to the park to make the most of the good if ridiculously windy weather. William followed Carys around and tried desperately to do what she did. Scarily he was very good on the balancing log and on the scramble nets, however the rope bridge defeated him, much to his annoyance. They played really well together on the rockers and on the roundabout thing. Lovely to watch. Pity it didn't last when we got home, but hey that is kids and it is towards the end of term and C is showing signs of tiredness.
