Inspiration

Around the waist of this glass figurine is a locket which contains a black and white picture of my Grandad, whom i miss very much. It belonged to my Nan, and after she died, i asked if I could have it as I have very few pictures of my him.
Looking at his picture brought back one of my favourite memories of him when i was about ten years old. One warm, sunny day, we walked along the river at Roydon for what seemed like miles and miles, talking, watching the boats, and enjoying each others company.
