New Zealand: Queenstown

Queenstown is perhaps one of the biggest tourist towns on the South Island of New Zealand. The one major thing regards Queenstown that appeals to a number of people is the large range of adventure sports you can partake in when you are visiting. During the winter months they also have a large ski season which attracts people to the town every other month of the year.

The great thing i found with Queenstown was the amount of public parking spaces in which you could park up for free. I obviously took advantage of this and spent a couple of nights in my campervan in an unofficial campervan site. I say unofficial because the amount of other campervans doing the same thing here was quite significant.

It was decided apon us that we park right next to this lake one evening. I don't regret it, the peace that we had complete with this amazing sunset was amazing. I think it was very safe to say at this moment in time i absolutely loved New Zealand!
