Can you tell what it is yet?

Here we are again, last day of the month, and it's my "Can you tell what it is yet challenge". Again, as a reminder, I have 'joined' the Whatisit?" challenge, although this was unrelated to start with.

So, nobody at all guessed February's challenge so i have linked it here so you can all see....A Bug 'Zapper'.

As a result, this month's is way easier. I would be amazed if it wasn't guessed within minutes, and of course, when it is, I'll post within days of that guessing. I did actually have fun shooting this, getting the exposure and focal point right so that it came out like this. It is amazing how much you can learn from a task like this about the behaviour of your camera and lens.

On other fronts....GREAT NEWS...I take it all back...my veiled comments about my insurance company were completely unfounded, as they picked my Apple Laptop up at 2pm yesterday and at lunchtime today, they texted me the voucher number to replace it!!! Now that's was I call a fantastic service!!! So, hats off to Direct Line. Maybe I'll stay with them...one hears so many horror stories of insurance companies procrastinating and my only experience some 20 years ago was getting about 35% of the value of my claim months and months after the burglery occurred. It was traumatic enough that we had been violated by a burglar, but it was compounded by being 'raped' by the insurance company of that time....who will remain nameless.

So, now I have a decision to make....like for like 17" macbook Pro with alll the gizmos, or maybe a new iMac plus a laptop of slightly lesser spec?
