This amaryllis was given to me by my Great-Grandma when I was really young, but my mum has tended to it and every year it produces flowers of the deepest most beautiful iridescent red. There are two flowers and many more buds at the moment, and I look forward to enjoying it for a good few weeks yet.

The weather's perked up a bit just now, but it's been windy, wet and miserable all morning - hence the lack of an outside blip. That, and I'm writing a report on Doosan Babcock...
