The lens that doesn't exist
Back in the USSR they used to make lenses that went by the name Helios. Anyone that likes to poke around with old lenses will have come across them.
However this one that bares the name Helios and also Zenit on the lens cap has nothing to do with the KMZ factory. As far as I can find out it's a japanese lens. They took advantage of the brand not being registered in Japan and whacked these out under the Helios name.
Anyway....... it's not really that much of a lens. It's OK but a bit woolly at times.
All hail old manual focus lenses. There are some gems out there, however this isn't one of them.
