This is ridiculous - I haven't blipped for 10 days simply because the next would be number 100 and I felt I needed to do something witty or clever or in some way special.
Having failed to do those things myself,I offer you the example of Richard Baxter. He lived in this rather modest house on St Leonard's Close in Bridgnorth for just one year, and yet he is still memorialised 370 years later. Not for being rich or powerful or inventing something useful, but simply for being learned an eloquent. I am humbled.
Now there is an ambition for academics in the Humanities to rival 'Impact' or contributing to the 'Big Society'.
