Today has been long and full. My ride to book group was a few minutes later than I expected leaving me a time to sit on the front step in the evening light and just be still.

The photo is branches of mockorange viewed through a home made willow table. I liked the similarity of the living rooted branches and the cut ones. I wonder whether the legs of the willow table, a year old now, would root if it were left in a wet garden all summer.
